General Information

Thanks to the extensive GVB network, travelling within Amsterdam by public transport is easy and efficient. Connecting the city's neighbourhoods via train, tram, metro, bus, and ferry, Amsterdam's public transport system offers seamless options for getting around.

Please note: GVB's network is cashless and requires debit/credit cards or smartphones to check in and out. From 2025, vending and charging ticket machines at metro, bus and tram stops will be widely removed.

If you arrive from Schiphol, it is easiest to take one of the trains from the Schiphol station to the Amsterdam Centraal Station. Then follow the directions from Amsterdam Central to Singelkerk. You can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take the 2, 12 or 17 Tram. You must then get off at Koningsplein.
